Furniure Making Courses

After 23 years in IT Sales and Marketing, and after finding out last week that I will have no job by July, I've decided to radically change my life and become a furniture maker. Sometimes you need to be pushed out of your comfort zone to follow your dreams!

I've found a few furniture making schools in the South (Somerset, Kent, 2 in Devon and 2 in E Sussex) and I'm hoping to visit these over the next month or 2 to work out the one for me.

So the question - is anyone on here a furniture maker/cabinet maker and are there any schools you would recommend based on your knowledge?

I've posted this in the Business section too - but think this may get more eyeballs here.
