ETA: What did he expect?
Considering it was something he did in the privacy of his own home, he should have expected it to stay a completely private affair. I'm sure if someone took photos of you pummelling your o/h and plastered them all over the front of a tabloid you'd be 'utterly utterly' distraught!ETA: What did he expect?

If there was a huge, genuine public interest then of course they should do it. It has to be a very good public interest.

Otherwise if the NOTW wanted to publish piccies of me on the job, they would be having a very, very quiet newsday. I suspect I'd be 'utterly utterly' flattered, and the readers would be similarly bored...
Besides I couldn't afford to do much, not being able to afford a fleet of prime lawpersons like the noble Mr Mosley.
Nobody disagrees that the NOTW acted in poor taste in covering this story, but Max has made himself into a hated figure through the introduction of unfair rules and poor judgemental decisions in Formula 1.
Had he acted fairly towards others, others would have acted more fairly towards him, its called Karma.
His actions brought the sport into disrepute and I'm amazed he's kept his job, if you ask me this just further illustrates the murky depths at which the man operates.

He wasn't pummeling his other half, he was engaged in kinky secrets with call girls. His other half found out as a result of the NOTW coverage IIRC.
If he had been in his "own" home and with his "own" wife then it should "absolutely" be private, but it wasn't was it.
The Judge said there was no evidence of a Nazi theme. Did he not watch the same video as the rest of us ? Apart from the Nazi theme then everything else was as reported.
He has chosen to be a "moral high ground" leader of an international sporting body which has many children all over the world as it's members. (from age 8 onwards)
IMHO he deserves everything he got. He should have resigned and melted away.
