drugs bust next door!

about 1am last night next door neighbours house was found to be growing cannabis!

walked outside this morning, and half the street is covered in cannabis leaves. Must have been a fair few plants for that amount of leaves all over the place.

This happened to a chap I know - except his house got raided during the day.

Only problem is that he was in the pub next door complete with his very sizeable stash. So he just went outside the boozer and watched the show with the rest of the regulars and didn't let on (obviously) who he was.

I'm wondering the same thing.. added to the fact the front door of his house was unlocked..
strange... although it has always smelt of weed outisde. id say he p*ssed someone off and they've done one on him..

If it was another grower they'd have plenty of leaves to scatter around; they're essentially worthless.

sounds like a possible explantation. No idea why the bloke would be as careless to drop his weed all over the street, so either he was broken into and the weed was dropped by thief.. or someone put a trail leading to his house and called police?

Was you wasn't it? You thought you'd sneak in whilst he was out and help yourself to some free smoke, thought you heard someone coming and ran out with your arms full dropping it everywhere

Doubtful as weed is expensive £20 for 3.5 grams or an 'eighth' so leaving a hansel & grettel trail wouldn't be worth the risk of it not being discovered. However, if it were the leaves of the plant that don't get you stoned that was left them yes. I suspect if he was grassed up (check me out there <--- ) it was by an ex-mate who nicked some of the leaves or took them from the bin outside to leave this trail.
