Well, I haven't laughed at anything that Billy Connoly has done for a decade or two, then I saw this:

Hits the nail right on the head. Might buy a ticket to one of his shows again...

I always have liked the big yin, not just for his comedic talent, but also for his factual programs(see the end of the world program recently)!

I have always thought that he is cool, but he has had a 20 year gap of being funny IMO, unfortunately for him.

I did like the trike documentary however.

I've always liked Billy Connelly, and spent a lot of money a few years back to go and see him. Sadly it was the time he made his comments about Ken Bigley and the audience did not appreciate it - from that moment on, he struggled to get a laugh. I was really disapointed that I sat and watched a very talented man who had nothing interesting to say.

I like his early stuff but since I saw him live, I just see him in a different light.

I did see Al Murray live recently - he was brilliant! Left the theatre with a stitch!!

He has always been my favorite comedian but I fear that was a chubby brown/jim davidson moment, it will be taken out of context and he will now be branded a racist.

Damn shame and he should cut back on the weed it does make you slur your words a bit billy even a day or two after a sesh wink
