According to the guide page 7 one of the practical hints (any exemptions at the direction of the committee) is a fire extinguisher and must be within reach of the driver.
What size is recommended and what would be the best place to fit it in a Chimaera and what fixing, would you use whithout spoiling the interior.

I would suggest 1.75L AFFF mounted sideways under the driver's knees and bolted through the floor.

Aqueous Film Forming Foam - it's replaced Halon gas (non-environmentally friendly). Not sure if dry powder versions are still available, but as Peter says, AFFF are the ones to go for.

I hope it isn't compulsory, because my guide arrived today (Tuesday Morning) so no time to fit one. Perhaps my job as passenger is to firmly hold one
