Noisy Front

mmm... I've had the car since October & had an interim service carried out 2 months ago, but there is a 'rubbing' noise coming from the front wheels, which I assume is a wheel bearing starting to go home. The steering wheel has a slight movement in line with the 'rubbing'.
When should I get it fixed? Now before any real deteroration, or when the Noise is huge?

For Info - The wheel bearing had failed, I drove it for about 2,000 miles with no real deteroation - only cost <>£100 inc Parts & Labour to get fixed during main service.
