warranty/tyre info/etc on 9-3 2001 model

I am contemplating buying a private 9-3 hatch.
It was registered in june 2002 but is the 2001 model...not the latest one.
Can anyone tell me if the tyres are directional? How much they cost approxiamtely?
Also...what was the standarad warranty for the 9-3 fro the 2001 model ....was it 2 or 3 years?
Anythign else i should be looking for in a private sale for such a car with 25000 miles on the clock?

I replied on the other thread - check the SID pixels are OK, no blue smoke from turbo, other than that the usual stuff.
Try and go for an SE as that has the climate and leather wheel, leather and heated seats are nice too.
Handling can be tweaked with a fwe choice upgrades (~500 quid for Viggen Rescue Kit), and as far as power upgrades go, where do you want to stop?
250bhp is easily attainable.
