Rear Parking Sensor problem

Hi, the rear parking sensor on my 2002 9-5 Aero estate has just stopped working. Does anyone know of a problem with the sensor or what it could be pse?

Hi

If you put the car in reverse with the engine running (or just ignition on), put your ear to each sensor in turn. If a sensor is operating correctly it makes a sort of cracking noise.

If one isn't 'crackling', it may be faulty, if non of them crackle, it could be your control unit.
