Orange flake speed 12 Cerbera in Nürburg
Discussion
I thought only one such car existed based on the now ancient EVO article from 2005. However, tonight when we left Pistenklause, an orange flake painted Cerbera Speed 12 was parked outside!
It was not the W112BHG plate featured one EVO so I'm guessing an original racing car has now been road registered.
I have never seen W112 nor seen better pictures than featured in EVO. The car I saw tonight had all the features expected for a race car and definately looked like it was the real deal. Top of the engine sported a 12 visible through the vents on one of the banks of the V engine
Is this a real speed 12 Cerbera I have seen? Does anyone know anything more of the car?

It's a replica Speed 12 Cerbera built by an engineering company based in Lytham who have a number of ex TVR employees on their staff. It's based on the 5th and final tub fabricated by TVR but never assembled. The car runs an engine based on an Aston V12 similar in concept to the one in Graham Abbot's 2nd car, the body panels are new and taken from the original moulds.
So while it's an authentic tub it's effectively a new car and has no parts that ever raced in period so it is a modern 're-imagining' of the car.
