Purple Cerbera - C11 heading towards Caen/Cherbourg yesterday as we slip streaming our support Peugeot van as it tried for a land speed record of beating 62mph biggrin

Then there was Str8Six racing there:

We were glad to have UK owners on the TVR French Car Club area. Even if we had to play to sliding-puzzle when cars were moving smile.
We were gathering a good sample of the production, from the Vixen to the Sagaris, with of course lots of Chimaera/Griffith but also some 3000M/S, S series, Cerbera, T350T (yes only T350T no regular one), Tamora and Tuscan.
I met the owner of a white 450i in the trafic jam, next time he will have to come with us to fill the gap smile.

That's very hospitable. Whenever I look at trying to display with the UK TVRCC it appears you can only if you book through the clubs affiliated and expensive tour company. It appears the club is more for it's sponsors than its members.

Great pics Byker28i they're especially challenging in the dark. Looks like you got a good location to shoot from.

Fighting with the french to shoot through the vehicle recovery gap at the start of the striaght. I had a nice gap then someone tried using my shoulder to rest his lens on biggrin

The French TVR stand was brilliant, had a good few chats with some of the owners, they were very welcoming.

Thanks a lot!

And for indigochim, we cannot behave like this in the French club because we are not many of us.
We have around 60-80 members between bad years and good years. Knowing that LMC years are usually good ones.
Being a member gives the ability to buy tickets cheaper and sooner. And outside LMC, during our events, non members are also welcome, they just have less priority if we are too many to participate and some activities (like eating and drinking smile) are offered (or discounted) for members.

We have a very good atmosphere, unlike some clubs of other brands, we don't care who has the biggest (engine of course), the more expensive, the fastest... (everyone knows that this are green 400 Chimaera smile)
We even have long time members who don't have a TVR.

I suspect this is too late of a cheeky request but is there any means of getting access to the display for this years classic? My father in law is no longer able to join our party so it will just be 2 of us traveling giving opportunity to take the chimaera. It would be great If I didn't have to leave it on the campsite.

Hi,
We asked Peter Auto if we could have a single park for UK and French TVR Car Club, but this was an issue with Fasttracktours.
So, since we don't want to step on our neighbors' toes, we cannot invite everyone to our space. However, if you didn't book your travel with them, this shouldn't be a problem.
I won't be there this year, but our president with his dark blue Griffith will be.
