going round the one way system at roneo corner today about one o'clock.

I followed you into the same road and you pulled into a back alley!

I would of stopped to say hi, but I was already late picking up my little girl (from the school at the bottom of the road).

thought it might have been Hughesies old car, looked like the same yellow!!

hi Paul

hope all is well with the car now then, you certainly made my day today, you have a gorgeous car, I love seeing other tivs around, but if its going into hibernation i guess I won't be seeing it for a while

Your driving was fine, not sure about mine though, trying to catch up with you as you pulled into that alley, i stopped and was going to beep, but then I thought you might think I was mad.

see you around
Tracey

Hi Tracey, yep, you've seen a rare sight at this time of year,as I'm one of those who needs counselling to make him use his car infilthy weather..not a suggestion of coolant loss on standard hoses, upgrade to silicon..leak!! Any way, all sorted now.
My daughter went to Wykeham, 17 now and at college, has fond memories of Wykeham.
If you see me at a meet, come and say Hallo!

Was that you smiling from a black Focus today? If it was, you'll have seen that the Chim has turned into something else..

Hi Paul wavey

not me I'm afraid, and if I'd seen a cobra in Romford, then I would of done a lot more than smile

I've been looking out for your chim when I drop the kids off, no wonder I've not seen it, hope you are enjoying the new car.

the cobras meet at the halfway house on the A127, we went to their meet the other week, are you planning on going there?

see you around

Hi Tracey, it was a black Focus and thought it might have been you!
Missed the last Halfway Hse meet, but hoping to make the next one if weather ok and I'm not required at work! The Dax is great fun and like the Chim, everyone on the road seem to like it, I had a lovely cruise round Essex lanes yesterday and beginning to adjust to 6.5 litres and 450 ft/lbs!
Loved the Chim but wanted a Cobra since watching black and white TV motor races in the sixties, my cousin has built two, but I haven't the talent so enlisted Dax builder Dave Brookes to do the job instead, mine is the 106th Dax he has built.
Noticed a black Cerbie burbling down Upper Rainham Rd sometimes, presume its yours, might see you at A127 meet sometime.

might see you at the next cobra meet then, really enjoyed the last one and it's only down the road to me. I thought it was a pretty good turnout too considering it was a bit drizzly and overcast, there were about 4-5 that braved the weather, so hopefully loads more next time if its dry

You've probably seen Mark in the cerb, he goes that way to and from work and takes the cerb (lucky git) give him a flash and a wave next time you see him

Yep, obviously with these cars the problem is no roof,in fact not even any windows! But ther are plenty of stalwarts as with the TVRCC, and our man 'Bilko' is a great organiser.
I'm usually in the family Mondeo, so would only see Mark's dust!
Always a shot in the arm to see something interesting amongst all the 'grey porridge' that inhabits local roads!
Looking forward to spring/summer!
