Dark Blue Chim (L866 V*R) in layby near Basildon, heading Southend bound.
Looks like you had a problem, hope it gets fixed soon. I would have stopped to help, but I had no tools on me and probably would not have been much help anyway!

I did stop but there was nothing I could have done even with tools.

I hope the car isn't off the road to long, and what ever it was that went bang is cheap! best of luck Chris...

We passed it too, just as it was being loaded onto the breakdown lorry. Hope it's nothing too serious.
