Hello mate

I saw you drive past as he was being loaded. I did a manly wave but you wouldnt have seen me. The AA man thought I was a bit odd (he may have a point )

Nice weather, thought I would take the cerb to work after dropping my daughter off at school. Restarting the car the starter motor made a funny noise, so, having a freeish morning, thought I would run it over to Austec for them to confirm the prob was indeed the starter motor. Got to Austec's, turned the car off and went and dragged Steve out to listen. Bugger me, the starter motor went kaput there and then .

Phoned the AA as I have their parts and labour warranty, to be told of course, that they would only honour the warranty if they recover the car back to Austec (told them Austec would recover for free, save them a job) so had to tell the AA that I was 2 miles down the road and they said they would be there in 90 minutes. The Austec boys bump started me and I shot off to Blockbusters car park, parked it in a nicely accessible slot, went to the cafe for a full English, bought a newspaper (well, The Sun :dontknow and sat back and waited for them. Eventually waved goodbye to him and got on the train home to collect the Audi for my journey to work.

God I love my car
