Hi Russell,

Glad you like it - I do!! Only had it since April, and this is it's first trip into London - up from Bournemouth for the week.

Your profile says you have a Tuscan? Didn't see any in the NCP, but thought I heard the distinctive Tiv growl somewhere around here yesterday late afternoon.

Are you one of the TVR London lot that meet somewhere off Gracechurch Street?

I left a note on your windscreen to say look on here if your not a member.
Yes I have a Tuscan, sometime drive it into work but usually drive the fiesta diseal which is parked next to yours now.
I take it the Tam made it through the traffic OK

Yeah, it's been fantastic. Have to be careful with the kerbs in that damned NCP though.

I'm aware that Tivs prefer to strectch their legs, but it has behaved exceptionally well in the traffic. Not sure how they match up to other models but I've been told that the Tam is one Tiv that is meant to be driven daily, in all circumstances. Seems about right to me.

Keep seeing threads about "Can you live with Tiv as a daily runner?" and I see absolutely no problems. Except for the speed with which services approach! Got mine on 7th April and I'm at about 4.8k miles already!

hey, left our Tivs chatting in the car park so to speak. Havnt been spotted before in 5 years of ownership so just maybe.....
Agreed on the daily use of Tivs, mines now up to 28k with no probs what so ever, other than the usual wear and tear, new brakes, tyres, oh and two batteries - but then I have never tracked her yet.
Enjoy your run back home

This may sound sad, but it was quite a buzz seeing the two Tivs together in the car park. My wife thinks that I should get a life.... BUt it's twice as nice to see two of them as it is to see one!

Very glad to hear that you've had so much trouble free motoring. On a personal basis I don't care what people think about TVR reliability, but it's damned good to know that the real situation is much rosier.

Had a very good drive back - and got spotted again on the M27!

Hi Lee,

Cheers for the spot, finally after all those miles and hopeful Monday mornings on this site.
I see you left early on Friday, i was back at the car around 1:30pm and your car had gone for a lunchtime blast around the city no doubt.
Dont worry about the wifes comments, in time she will be spotting them for you and rushing home to tell you what she saw that day and how nice/better your car is when compared to the ones she has seen.
Have you let her have a go yet?

Must have just missed you; I left about 1:20. Had to drop off some photos to Maddog-uk (Simon) that I'd taken at Supercar Sunday.

As I'm still new to all things TVR it's always good to see other cars, and talk to owners. Seeing two or more of them together is a buzz! SS was really good - 30+ TVRs, 26 of them Tamoras.

Strangely, I was spotted twice more last week. I'll look out for your Tusc week of 10th July as I'm back up; won't have the Tiv though, as I'll need four seats on my jpurney up on Sunday evening.

The wife's already started spotting 'em! Called me on Sunday as she saw a Tuscan or Griffmera on the opposite carriageway! She won't drive mine though - yet. I'm hoping she'll have a little go this coming weekend as we've a nice run up to Newmarket.
