Dont be so stupid, a woman in a Typhon - have you been at the glue?
Don't even bother to go off on one - Jane already owns the T440R - and now the Typhon as well - and is a very competent driver.
If it's either chauvinism or jealousy - sh!tcan it - we have done this to preserve a couple of the more important recent TVR models.
And yes, you've managed to piss me right off!!!

I hope the manor has gained some garage space since my last visit - sounds like it needs it!

Is that the same Typhon that was on display at the back home event?
Indeed it is - www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=1&f=107&t=327684&h=0
Had my car in the factory for some warranty work last year, just before back home. That Typhon was on the ramp next to my T350. The Typhon was having a new glovebox made and fitted. The service guy tried selling it to me for £75k, was tempted, if only i had had the funds, nice motor.

...implying that you dont know the driver and yet a later post says:
...implying that you do.
Do you or don't you know her?

No, not really. I'd say you would all agree that its a pretty rare car and of interest to loads of TVR enthusiasts and PH's. Well done to them for buying it and giving it a good home. Check out the pics on the Typhon forum and you will understand.
Bragging - definitely not.
I am delighted we have secured the car, and think it is important that these things are in the public domain - especially given the issues with the company at present. We will be making a point of attending as many events as possible.
Speaking of which, what actually happened to the Speed 12 sale?
I had suggested a syndicate of TVRCC members should get together to secure what is a fantastic piece of TVR history, on behalf of the TVR "massive". Nothing happened.
Ted, can you shift this thread over to the Typhon forum - we're a touch off the spotted track!
