re-circ buttons? The elise can't even keep water out so I struggle to see how it can keep air out too! Bless it.

My wife bought me one for Chrimbo. She got it from one of the usual places. I wasn't very impressed with the product to be honest. The button was very cheap and really a fiver would have been a fair price. If you still want to do it you can always order a button from somewhere like RS Components. This is what I did and wired it in exactly as the instructons said that came with the other one.

The most difficult part is mounting the button in the blanked switch. Wiring it in is very simple. Let me know if you want any more info/pictures.

Karl

Have sent you a mail but it bounced back?

If you could supply some info on the start button, wiring etc! that would be great thanks!

Remove the blank switch and mount your chosen button into it. Remove three screws from lower shroud and four from upper shroud that surrounds the steering column. Run the two wires (black and red) from the start button, behind the other switches until they reach the ingition barrel.

Cut the black wire that exits the back of the barrel(leaving enough wire to reconect wires if wanted) Blank off the end that enters the barrel and join the other end which enters the loom, to the black wire that goes to the start button.

The yellow wire that exits the back of the barrel has to have the red start button wire joined into it.
Replace the shroud and try it out.

Try RS components or Maplin for buttons, they need to be 'push to make' type.
