Yep, just heat them with a hair dryer, peel them off, then you use white spirit to remove any residue. Then polish the area with a decent polish Autoglym etc. Job done.

Oh yeah, replace with black ones

Standard clear one from Lotus dealer or www.armourfend.com/ not sure on the black ones now as the guy Bob van M isn't doing them any more

Just to give you an idea on the black ones:

Hi Billy,

New to this Forum thing myself! But this site is great for info. You may have found them by now.

But if not then, have a look at www.lotusecosse.com for your rear stone chip guards they supply S1 Black, Clear or Aluminium look ones for £29.72 includes VAT and Postage to UK.

Just ordered some black ones myself, after reading this forum. As mine are all yellow and cracked!!

Good luck

Just for info, the picture of the protectors on "Lotusecosse" site is my car (pre victory alloys) which I'd imagine they stole from Bob van M's site. I was one of the first people Bob supplied so took a pic for him to use on his web site. Therefore the protectors they sell may be slightly different to the picture. Not that it matters, just thought it worth a mention.

Mark, how are you finding life with the Elise compared with the Esprit (you did have one before, didn't you?)

After ordering those black stone guards, Lotus Escosse, have now reimbursed me.
Due to supply problems, sounds terminal, see email attached;

Due to circumstances outwith my control I am unable to supply your black
rear wheel arch protectors.

A manufacturing fault in my current batch has been discovered and I'm unable
to get replacements made in a timely manner.

A full refund has been credited to your credit card.

My apologies

Pleasant email, but disappointed all the same, will now check out Armourfend.

Not a terminal problem, but a pain in the neck supply problem.

I will have a new batch at some point in the future, but the ones I have I cannot sell, and I have decided to cancell all orders until such times as I have product I want to sell.

The website is closed until I'm back from some much needed holidays, by which time things will be available again.

Apologies . . . but c'est la vie

Hi, I ordered some of the black ones a couple of weeks ago from Lotus Eccose.....never received any or anything about not being available. I will check if my credit card was billed. Assume if it was then I will also be able to get a refund?

Hi Rich,

Check your emails, I had an email from worldpay first.

Subject - WorldPay credit/debit card refund

Ordered a 160 Trophy throttle body at same time, this arrived no problems.

Cheers

Check your email . . . All outstanding wheel arch stuff has been treated in the same way . . .

I'll double check my end too . . .

Of course you'll be refunded if not already . . . !

I love you, Fergus

Seriously, any chance of you getting some more interior bits to sell? (thinking of ali-winders, carbon fibre bits, mats, tweeters?)

Cheers big-lad
