I've just gone the other way, and now back in Elise-world. Type-R engine going in at the moment so that it'll give the Nobles a run for their money on track :-)

Dan - you're a lucky man dude, have fun in the Noble and do come back and say hello to us all from time to time. You've written a few decent posts I suppose on here so we might miss you

The 'liz is very pretty though mate, whoever gets yours will be getting a very nice motor. Good luck with the sale

I tested the motorway sportscar elise type-r at Bedford a while back, and despite driving like a granny, god it was fast. Accidently did a burn out of the pit lane

Friends selling his GTO3 though and its too good an opportunity to pass up as it has a great spec (what he spent on upgrades is shocking!) and I know its history.

Really excited about the forthcoming change as its orders of magnitude quicker than my car. Just debating whether to nitron it or not, but I'm not convinced I can afford to track a noble much so might not be worth it for me.

As to the rest of you lot, I'll still be lurking around & thanks for the compliment on the liz it is a good car so hopefully someone will pick it up soon and I can complete on the noble before winter

Just can't get enough of these irresponsible and impractical British sports cars. Gotta get them bought before I'm married and encumbered by kids. The fiancee needs to get accustomed to them being around

All the best with the new car Dan.

I'd be interested to hear how you find the Noble against the Elise as it's next on my list.

Interesting... Simon from Noble frequently posts replies to questions on their forum, I wonder if anyone from Lotus is paying attention to all these Elise owners who are thinking of going over to Noble Should have built us the M250..

Well done, Dan, let us know how you get on with the new motor, it's a change I fancy making, too.

Not much lotus can do about it to be fair. Anyway I've not seen that many people make the move to noble, it is a much more expensive car, and keeping it on the road is going to be at least double what the Elise is!

I plan to . Its hard not to giggle like an idiot as you put your foot down in a noble. Well that and wet yourself as the horizon warps past.

Drove like a granny on my test drive, it was so quick I didn't dare put full power down.

So you are back Drag?
