hi
is there a site that details how to replace the shocks on a S1 elise?
Am i right in thinking that they will not need spring compresors ?
help please

If you are changing just the shocks you will require a spring compressor.

However, when folks fit S2 suspension to the S1 (an increasingly common mod) the new shocks are supplied complete with new springs already fitted, so it really is just a simple unbolt/exchange/tighten up operation.
But then the suspension geometry needs to be checked, and probably reset. Not a diy job for most people.

That's a bit rich - you can get a new set for that.
