I have a friend who is a Yokohama dealer
he has spoken to them about the set for the elise
basically we are being ripped off - quite severely
He has suggested a set of Yokohama AVS Sport tyres are very good - I can get them under £50 quid each trade !!!!!!!
has anyone tried them - they are Yokohama's top design

Didn't think the AVS Sport were available in Elise sizes. Only bigger.
Perhaps you friend can get some Yokohama AD05 and AD06 tyres though in the correct sizes. These are the Advan Neova's used on the S1 nowadays.
Or perhaps even some AD07's, which are used on the USA version of the Elise.
