YES I NEED AN ANSWER!!!!

I want simple "black wheels".

I have a 98 s1 with standard wheels, i have some fine yoko's so want wheels to be same size as i am not buying new tyres to!!...

I have rang usual places trying to get a set of sport 160 in black, no one has any! infact one lotus centre i rang said and i quote "they never made them in black". (said in a "your a twat" sort of way!).

So what wheels can i put on the car then?? i know an option is to get mine re-done in black, but i want a new different style!!!!.

I like the look of the speedines, compomotive's to they do some nice black wheels...i do know i would need the hub adaptors for these...so over to you lads, can you help?????

Compomotive MO - they do the correct size and offset for the elise no hub adaptors needed and they come in black.

Get all the wheel measurments you would need to buy wheels of the shelf (ie, offset, PCD, im sure someone on hear can supply these) then ring the likes of demon tweeks and give them the measurments and they will give u a list of wheels avalible and then u just need to, choose a style

Try these guys

www.plansmotorsport.com/contact/

they race elises/exiges and are very knowledgeable on the subject so sourcing some alloys which they use for racing shouldnt be a problem.

Otherwise contact demon theives and tell them the PCD offset size etc and see what the compomotive MO cost.

Or if you have a few more pennies you could get a set of these speedlines in black (bottom of the page).

Deciding on which wheels is much like deciding which size breast implant your missus will get.

Gentleman let me elaborate...

You have to decide on which size is right, too big and you'll ruin the handling. Too little means your mates wont be impressed.

Then you have styles....

Indeed, the analogy is striking.

Will rimstocks not fit the S1?
