cuzza - you get my e-mail? beer tonight in the barn?

Bonce - stop mincing around and pay the poor company their cash. They cant be blamed for the fact you look 18 and so they charge you accordingly.

No, renewal isn't until January. I was moaning because:

1. I had to pay £30 to cover the courtesy car while my car is being serviced later this month, even though my Elise doesn't need cover whilst it is with the garage.

2. They will charge me a £15 admin fee for updating my policy if I add a removable steering wheel to my car.

hard luck matey.

We all get shafted from various companies.

e.g.

I lost a £100 deposit on my former halls, because i failed to note all earlier damages to the flat when i moved in.

Revenge was sweet

How about charging them an admin fee, everytime they ask you to do something?

Threaten you'll change provider?

Great idea about the admin charges!

Last insurance company lost my details three times! That's a lot of extra photocopying Tracker Certificates etc. Recon it should be worth £25 a time if I charge the same as my Bank

It actually makes it less likely to be stolen if Bonce removes it while it's parked. Go figure what's in the little minds of the insurers....

Mate I got done for £21 for the self same today... still it's cheaper than fecking about with public transport. Nothing in life is free these days dude.

As for the steering wheel, £15 ain't that bad, but if you don't like them for it, make a mental note when its time to renew... and go elsewhere!

Tell them your original wheel is damaged and needs to be replaced. Find out the retail cost of a genuine one - the removable one might be cheaper then tell them you are going to replace it with a cheaper/more secure alternative. If it is dearer - tell them that for only x more you can get one which will make your car much harder to steal. They should do it for free. Afterall, they don't charge you for adding an imobiliser to your policy, or a tracker at £500!

It's all how you phrase things to the phone monkey.
