Will whoever keeps bloody reversing onto the front of my car please stop!

Yesterdays damage was the 3rd time in as many weeks, putting a nice scratch up the front of the clam from the snout to near the drivers side indicator.

Does anyone have any bright ideas about how to stop this?

I've thought of putting traffic cones in front of the car, getting some kind of screen, propping up a mattress on the front of it... I'm losing the will to live here!!

Bad luck old chap! Options:

1) Can you get some sort of security camera which is triggered by motion? So if someone hits you it take a pic of their car. Yuo could pop it on the dash.
2) Park under a security camera
3) Employ your own security guard
4) Park elsewhere?

Best of luck.

Hi there,

Your going to either have to park it someone else or get some sort of security camera, I don't like to say it but it sound's to me like someone thinks your car is a bit flash, I'd go the second route and get some revenge chances are if they have to pay for it they'll think twice about damaging someone else's car!!!

Chav's probably

Excellent tips....The last one maybe your problem??

Elise Website

If at all possible don't park in a double row in car park. Some plonker is bound to not see your Elise and bump into it. Similarly, avoid parking against the kerb, between 4x4's and vans.

There's a simpler, cheaper solution which is free to all...

Be fecking careful when reversing!!!! Know how long your car is, notice mine, take care.

It's not wilful damage I don't think, just bloody lazy numpty driving.

Can you buy one of those police stinger things to put in front of it? That way, if they get too close, it'll blow their tyres out!

Is there any way you can put some kind of removable/non-drying paint mixture or similar on the front of your car that will rub onto the offending car, thus catching the culprit.
