Cleaning air intakes grilles

Hi,
Now that the showroom shine has been washed off my Elise by all of the rain, it has shown up a few bodywork marks and the matt black plastic around the windscreen and the air intake grilles have white residue marks were the car has been waxed or something by the dealer.
What is the best way to blacken these back up?

Hi There,
Autoglym Bumper Care is very effective. Its not a 'polish' like some products on the market. It's a green slime that removes the residues/ dirt and puts a water resistant layer on the surface.
Very good, significant WOW factor after first use, make sure you use a lint free cloth. Also use regularly to keep these surfaces clean, you will be amazed how much filth is removed. Use on on plastics, rubber, metal IIRC.

Thanks for the tips, I'll have a look for those and try it out.
I've found some Simoniz 'Back to black' in my shed so I'll also see what effect that has, if any.
With regards to the marks I found when cleaning my car, it did look pretty bad
in a concentrated large area and I didn't want to start messing with trusty old mr t-cut 
if it was a genuine paint fault.
So I took it to Christopher Neils in Northwich today and they sorted it out straight away. Luckily it was all on the surface of the paint and not pitted or scratched as it looked. They recommended the liquids that they used (1 white bottle, 1 black, both by 3M I think) but I have the memory of a goldfish, so I've forgotten what they were.
Anyway, top marks to Christopher Neils and the two guys who helped me out, excellent customer service. I've never dealt with them before, but they have won my custom from now on.

Look in your belly button. Rummage around with a finger. That stuff that comes out, that's lint that is. Comes originally from your clothes. Use a cloth that isn't lint free and your car will look like the inside of your belly button. Don't do it.
