We have a new addition to the family
Discussion
Well we picked up our new toy yesterday morning from Chris Neils, in the rain
pi$$ed it down all the way home, so car went from spanking clean to downright dirty in the space of an hour and a half. Fish drove it home, whilst I followed in the MX5, but I managed to get my hands on it once we got home, by taking it on its first shopping trip to Sainsburys
It feels great to drive, even though I had to keep it below 4000 revs, quite difficult to do. Can't wait till its run in and I can start
it properly. Even though there is no power steering it is incredibly light, so no problems there, it is also very easy to drive, much easier than the T350c and it is so responsive. It feels like you are driving a go kart but much easier on the steering and I feel very small in it
The pedals take a little bit of getting used to, as my natural right foot position is hovering over the brake so I have to try and remember where my feet are, although I was starting to get used to it after a half an hour.
I still need to master a more elegant way of getting in and out of the damn thing, definitely need to wear trousers for the forseeable
We have encountered one problem with it so far... it leaks
The floor mats were soaking wet in both footwells, is this a usual problem or do we have a duff? Other than that, I think we will have much fun with the little thing.
And just to finish off I ought to add some piccies, had to give it a wash first though, didn't think I would have to do that so soon.

....unless I just wear all the clothes, which means I will have room for more shoes in the back
