Ok, the honda lump is out of my league...audi is to i have to be realistic, but i want more p o w e r !!!.

Ive done some research and i want to know if the eliseparts 200 bhp cylinder head would make a vast improvement?? i already have the hollowing on my car:

itg induction(been offered one cheap!),
magnex exhaust (already fitted),
crp(already fitted),

Apart from that its standard...obviously i dont want to change parts on my car i want to build around them ideally!...

Also would i need additional parts to make the whole thing work!...would an emerald ecu help???

Can anyone give me an idea of what i would possibly acheive in bhp??

Simple, speak to Dave Andrews if you're sticking with a K.

You only need the Emerald if you go for more than 160ish bhp as the OEM ECU gets a little bit on the lean side there.

It's a shame Racespeed folded, I had one of their RS150 kits which was cracking.

Cheers,

It'll cost a lot to make a decent improvement. I don't reckon less than 180bhp is really worthwhile.

I agree with Dan - try and get a drive in a 160bhp car - if you get in it and go 'oh wow' due to the difference in power then by all means go for it. I dont think you will though. 180bhp+ is when an Elise really starts to feel quick....save your cash...or go for a staged approach with DVA - go for a 155 kit then add DTHTBS and Emerald later (another £2K ish total inc mapping) to get 180-190bhp...but by then you may as well have saved up and dropped an Audi lump in there ...........
