My old 52reg 111s did something similar within a few weeks.
The garage reckoned that i must have parked it near a building site and it was metal particles landing on my paintwork...yea i know, rubbish!!
They fixed it anyway, from what i can tell it wasn't too difficult, they probably hadn't sorted the laquer out properly in the first place. Take it back and let them sort it out.

I had a rear clamshell replaced on my S2 at the beginning of the year, and the paintwork began to bubble after about 4 months. I took it back to Lotus, and they've resprayed it for nowt... didn't even discuss the question of warranty. Apparently there is a new paint formula that they began using at the beginning of this year that has been causing problems... ... ... Baffles me as to why nobody at Lotus thought it might be a good idea to check this out before they started painting it onto peoples' cars...

). Looks like two different shades of colour. Still it should be under warranty so get them to sort it out
