how many type 72's are there?

Thanks to all of you who helped withh my elise v exige dilemna. It's now sorted and i'm the proud owner of an s2 elise type 72.

does anyone know how many of these were built ..i've got numbers ranging from 22 to 72...it's not going to cquse me to hang myself if i don't find out but it would be nice to know...

over 72 for sure....they were special order after the first 50...not a 'limited edition' as per the Type 25 and Type 49 though - still might be the odd brand new one kicking about in dealers too.,

Not a '72 but I've got a '79 (the S1 version basically). One of only 22 RHD made IIRC

Both are lovely models, and IMHO, the nicest of the Special Ed's (I also do have a bit of a thing for the T23's though!).
