After having discovered PistonHeads around the time I departed company from lovely Ruby Red S2 earlier this year I came to realise that it was one of the worst decisions that I've ever made!

So, I've been saving furiously and last night went to pick up my new pride and joy! My new S1 Sport 160 - Previously advertised here: www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=30025&s=12
The drive home last night was great, a real reminder of what an Elise is all about. That was followed by locking the car away in the garage last night (I have to admit the route I took to the garage was probably longer than absolutely necessary!).
And now, I'm sat here waiting for my phone to ring to inform me that the server I'm supposed to be upgrading this evening
is ready for me to proceed. I'll be doing that this evening and most of tomorrow morning too - and guess what, rain is likely in the afternoon 
I'll content myself with the knowledge that it's there, in the garage, ready to go at a moments notice - but I can't help but feel frustrated!

Bad news is last night was pretty much a waste of time - never got the call to say "Go". Still waiting this morning (having been up at 0100, 0300, 0500 and 0800 to check if the backup I'm waiting for has finished!). Gave in at about 0830 and went for a quick blat up to Henley and back (a couple of times 
). Been back in front of the computer again for a while reverting to waiting mode... We'll have to call it off if I have to wait much longer. If that happens I'm hoping it does that before the showers forecast for this afternoon hit Reading...
