Hi Guy's

The two rod's which hold my roof in place on my S2 111R look a little worse for ware and I don't really understand this as it's new, my question is Mr & Mrs Fish, Karl Mustard etc are yours the same ??? Do Elise's come like this ??? I'll have to get these sprayed or something

I thought my roof rods looked a bit 2nd hand when I got my new S2 last year - I think they are all like that - as long as they don't snap and hold the roof up I'm happy

Boggy -
Chill out mate - sounds like you're still in that early stage of new car ownership when you want everything to be perfect. When I first got my S2 I was cleaning the wheel arches every week with my wife's toothbrush. Now I can't remember when I last cleaned the car...

I know your all right,

I'm crazy I just want it to look perfect in every way it's going to be Impossible as I also like driving hard which inevitably lead's to stone chip's etc, it's such all-round brilliant car thou, I love it

If you're worried about stone chips boggy, why not get some Armourfend fitted?

I had it done before i'd picked up too many and it has totally protected the nose of the car although it has got a few down the sills/rear wheel arch.

Thanks Tim, that's quite a good idea, they did offer this when I brought the Car but I wasn't convinced, I'm starting to give this serious thought now.
