Series one 111s...A little help please!!!!

New to this forum and am looking for a bit of advice. I used to have a Series 1 Elise and sold it...Have decided to buy another Elise and fancy a 111s. I am struggling to find out the original spec as most of the cars I have looked at differ. Any thoughts? Carbon dash....indicator colours etc?

hi ed, i too had a series 1 elise, but now have mk1 111s,

it comes with smoked front indicators,red laether interior, carbon dash inserts, full red leather seats,headlamp covers and a lovely 143bhp !!!

for more technical info, im sure someone will be along to put you in the know!

Brilliant...Thanks guys...

The one I am looking at has clear indicators all round....(Max power special??!!) and has a strange looking gear knob. That said it has an Exige wing grafted on the back. I am trying to find out if we can get it removed.....Some people have strange ideas!

Any further ideas would be gratefully recieved!

I think I'd go for a different one!

Can't imagine what that wing would look like but not quite right is my first thought.

I have had 2 S1 Elise(s) and a S1 111s which was fantastic with the sports exhaust. It just seemed more complete than the standard car and is something like 4 seconds faster to 0-100.

I thought the carbon dash never looked right. The seats are much better for my bony asss. Did it not also have some alloy winders (nothing fancy and quite matte)? I will once again sample the delights (after I've paid them off!).

If it has neon washer jets (with only one working) stay away!
