Have a google for "Elise Track Day"
www.google.co.uk/search?num=20&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=elise+track+day&btnG=Google+Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB&sourceid=Mozilla-search

For example:
www.buyagift.co.uk/cgi-bin/buyagift.storefront/418f614501f3543e27410a000002054a/Product/View/2131

Having it for a whole day would cost the earth (if it is even possible) plus there is a good chance you would try the track driving skills on the way home and maybe total it?

If you are just testing the water you should try speaking to dealers and seeing if they will let you have a test drive on the road

If any one wants to loan buster their Elise, he will happily lend them his 996 Turbo in exchange.

not quite the same experience I guess?

I reckon most would shy away from letting you take it on track due to the increased likelihood of damage or at least the accelerated wear and tear.
