Which exhaust for S2 111S ?

Hi all,

Let me first say that, finnaly, I've got round to my first post on pistonheads. After following this forum for several months I bought my S2 111S 9 months ago and have never looked back (well maybe only to wave ! ).

Maybe without knowing it all the people contributing to this forum have been of emence help and encouragement - so thank you very much indeed.

Now down to business.... I'm thinking of buying an exhaust (S2 111S)... Any options other than JanSpeed?

Depends a lot on how loud (or not) you want it to be.

Larini seems to be quite a good option these days.

I've a Larini, and it's superb. I got mine through a group buy on SELOC, and although it took a while to arrive, it was worth the wait.

If you search a bit BigMac youl'l find plenty of posts on this subject. IIRC there's one thread at least which had links to soundfiles so you could hear some of the cans at full chat.

Larini seems to be well liked and well priced for the S2.

I think Larini's are a bit expensive but have a lifetime warranty IIRC. I think I'll be going for one of those, too.

The last group buy was organised by SELOC and seemed like a good deal, but maybe we can try and kick off another?

Just never had the cash!! But if Im saving money then I could argue that it had to be done now!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, who wants a Larini exhaust for an S2? They have a lifetime warranty and this system fits all model variants of the Elise 2, eg. 111 'S' , 135 'R' etc, without modifications.
