No, not ugly looking girls but hairy things with 4 legs.
Has anybody ever bought a harness to strap a dog into the passemger seat of an Elise. (Probably wouldn't be the best idea to let them drive)
If so any recommendations on where to get one and what type to buy.
The dog is a mad Wheaten Terrier in case you are wondering.
Cheers

Will it not fit in the boot?
Just kidding.
I'm sure, in the USA, pooches have to be belted in by law now. I saw an amusing picture somewhere - think it was Topgear.
Not much help I'm afraid.
Altough I do have a friend who makes his doggy wear it's leash in the car which he then traps in the door (with a bit of slack). This particular dog had a fondness for jumping out of the vehicle when it saw something worth chasing. Speeds in excess of 30mph didn't seem to bother it!

Whilst the wee fella would fit in the boot I think he might find it a bit dark.
I have see a guy, local to me, harness his dog in the passenger seat with the top down, but I haven't seen him since I got the car to ask him for advice.
I don't plan on having him in there much, just in emergencies when I can't nick the wife's car.

What the hell kind of emergency warrants drivng round with the dog in the car?!
The sort of emergencies like, the wife can't take the dog to the vets cause she is working late, the dog needs to be somewhere urgently, its a nice sunny day and the dog wants a ride in the beast with the top off.
I always used to take my old man's lab' to the beach in my previous elise... i had a simple harness affair bought from a pet shop and sat Jenny (the dog) on a towel for the 20 mile trip to the beach,,, it's very funny as when you get close, they can smell the sea air and get all excited (roof off of course)... going through McD's drive-through is always a giggle too... one down from a baby-seat i suppose!!! lol
