Thats good news, I am going to see Andrew tommorow, seems like a sensible bloke on the phone. Test driving a 111R and hopefully an S2 Exige. Lets hope the weather holds, so that we can give them some stick. Have they got any decent test drive routes around Poole ?

i have good things to say as well about the chap as well... i was intending to buy from him but ended up buying from Meridien instead... however the vibe i got from Westovers was of a very professional outfit so if you really feel the need to go down the official dealer route, i can't think of a better place to go...

much better than B&C... went there on Wednesday on the way to the Top Gear filming and pulled up in a S1, spent a while looking around a S2 and the salesman couldn't even be arsed to get out of his seat!!!!!!!

Hi Carps,
Absolutely blown away, didnt get to try an Exige (Andrew is going to call me as soon as they have got another one) but I was amazed at the cornering speeds of the 111 R even in the wet, going around one roundabout it felt like we were pulling G!! He certainly knows how to throw an Elise around ( I understand he has done a bit of racing ) so I cant wait to see what the stiffer suspension and sticky tyres on the Exige are like.
I have to admit that it is the first car that I have driven in ages that I would really seriously consider changing the Tiv for, in fact I think that once I have tried the Exige I will make a decision on one of them. Andrew has offered 3 years free servicing on a new one which seems like a good deal, but we havent sorted out the PX price on my Chimeara yet.

Drew - I tried Westovers last Exige demonstrator. Very impressed, handling is just something else, but for an everyday car (which my current S2 111S is) I would go for a 111R.
It'll be interesting to know what they bid for the TVR

Hi Guys, I picked up my 111R last saturday. I had A LOT of extras put in and Andrew has been absolutely superb. He has taken great care of me and the car and put up with me being more than a little demanding (also got a good discount...shhhh!) If you are getting a Lotus go see Andrew! Booked it in for its 1k miles service today so next week I will have full use of the power band - cant wait
