There is a Norfolk and Suffolk meet every month. As mentioned the Norfolk meet is at Dunston hall just south of Norwich on the third Wednesday of every month. Starts around 7ish. There is usually a good turn out. We are having our christmas do there on the 10th of December. I'm not sure if the meal is booked up but your all more than welcome to find out if not. There may also be a run organised for the next day, hangovers permitting.
The Suffolk meet is on the first Wednesday of the month. It's at The Black Tiles, Martlesham, just outside Ipswich. Most of the same crowd get there as the Norfolk meet.
All the details are on the Hangar 111 website as Greg, Mr Hangar 111 started it up. Any one is welcome, not just Lotus owners. Look for the table with everyone drinking coke.
I'll have to have a look for the EA Pistonheads meet up, be good to meet some new faces.

I live in the Stansted area and am a new owner. So any advice on places to buy spares get the car serviced would be very much appreciated.
Castle Lotus are in Stansted... gotta be a good start point!
You would think so, when i rang them for some prices about 5 months ago they still haven't come back to me. I wouldn't mind but on three times i rang them the guy was either at lunch or out delivering parts!!
I hope they have improved a bit.
If not Sinclaires in Romford are a good bet, they've done the serviceing on mine for the last two years, and their labour rate is half main dealers and they ARE enthusiasts.

Would love to but I've got to take the gf to York this weekend, some sort of anniversary thing??? I'd love to cancel it and have a nice trash round Cambridge, but don't think it would be too good for my health.

I have quotes from them (Castle)
`A` service £235 incl.
`B` service £335 incl.
`C` service £599 incl.
A bit steep I think as Sinclair's A is £50 cheaper. Still got to find out if the 10% SELOC discount applies to the labour. Also know a guy who charges by the hour but recons a B would come it c£235 and then back to Sinclairs again I think for my C.
Are there any "enthusiasts" ie Sinclair type people that anybody knows of in suffolk, north Herts?
Cheers
You could try Scole engineering. It's in Scole, just on the Norfolk Suffolk border. They deal with mostly specialist sports stuff. I had an A servive done there and was pleased with the work, and it only cost £75. I think they have done quite a bit of work on Elises having spoken to them. Might be worth a phone call?
Aswell as the usual service work they do alot of tuning work on cars. Been there for at least fifteen years so they are reputable. I intend to use them again for service work, and maybe for a few tweaks
