MOT & Lamda Sensors

Is anyone else here having problems with emissions during MOT's? My 111s 1999 fails every year due to the lamda sensor. Ok its low milage, approx 3-4k/year but come on the units should last longer than this. I am just about to take it in for an MOT again and I bet it fails again!!. Any comments

Take it to a more understanding MOT centre

My 111S failed on emissions, and after a 10 days trying different things including replacing the lambda, we finally found it was a bad electrical connection from the lambda to the ECU. Check that, it could save you hundreds of pounds!
