Windscreen Scratches

I have somehow managed to put a few long (but not deep) scratches on the inside of my windscreen .

I thought that trusty old duraglit may remove the scratches but read elsewhere on the internet that it was too abrasive.

JEWELLERS ROUGE seems a viable option.

Has anyone tried either of the above or removed windscreen scratches successfully any other way?

I don't want to replace the windscreen as that seems a bit drastic!
