Has someone forgotten to put a filter in my heating system when they built it or serviced it, or does everyone's car suck up dead leaves, break them into small bits and blow them into the interior along with a load of dust??

That's normal. There is no filter/ mesh on the air intakes for the heater. I think Hanger111 used to do a pair of filters which simply clipped onto the intakes.

mine does it too - you usually get a rattle as the leaf hits the fan, then when you close off all the other vents but one, -kabam - leaf enters cockpit at 100mph!

Just wait until a large spider crawls in and dies. Scared the living crap out of me as it was spat out onto me as I was driving along!

I have this large spider that refuses to die. It keeps lowering on to my head whilst driving. i swat it then it seems to be back for my next outing.
