heater is cr*p

all i did to improve mine was to insulate the side and bottom footwell area with cheap 10 pound car mats (set of 4). mat is always beter than bare aluminium.

also i put a sock in the passenger footwell vent. this blocked it off and made it feel much more powerful on the driver side.
the passenger i say. they can freeze

The S2 heater was set up to include recirculation, beneficial with a/c. Unfortunately when your doing 50-60 the driving air blasts through from the fresh air intake (front rad) and gets by straight into the cabin via the recirc vents by your feet. The sets of holes drilled in the bulkhead on both sides. try blocking these off to stop a cold draught up the legs!!! theres a kit by Lotus to do it neatly....or try a bit of carpet!
