for general road use then you could get away with some cheapo EBC Green Stuff.

If you want the best for hard road/track then Pagid RS4-2 ...about the same price as OEM Lotus are far superior

The Pagids are supposedly the best but quite pricey.

The best all round brakes (recommended by the VX220 guys) are Mintex 1155. These cost approx £100 for a complete set of front and rears

standards are AP racing on the S2. I'd recommend pagid RS42s. Well worth the money and a superb road and track pad.

But contain ceramics which mean you will be also replacing your discs sooner.

yeah - my Pagids are great but have torn the standard (S2 racetech) Lotus discs to pieces....

OK, OK - USE BLOCKS OF FLORA MARGARINE THEN.

YOUR DISCS WILL LAST FOREVER.

Jeez - there's no helping some folks.

I have a nearly new set of APs (OE on the S2) removed from an S2 at about 2k miles if you want them.

£50 the full set including delivery?

Pagids are pricey but they are the best.

And one set lasts a long time, mine are due a change now and have been on the car for about 20k miles
