Speak to Lotus Customer Services. They have a certain amount of goodwill, provided it doesn't cost them very much.

£9.40 + VAT (Part number A117U0170F) from any dealers, they've given you the price for the Enamel one

The cheapo plastic one will fade again very quickly - if you don't want to be replacing it again soon get the enamel one.
Having said that my car is lightening yellow and the faded badge looks much better than the new one!

Some 'low life' pinched the enamel badge from my S1. Replaced with a plastic one and it looks fine and easy to fit as it is stick on. I can replace it four times for the price of an enamel one!

how can i tell whether mine is enamel or not.....!! If it is enamel then ill argue for a new enamel one...mind you dont want to appear like a PITA when i might have to hassle them later for something much more important...fingers crossed.

If its an S2 then it should be the cheapo one.
