Cambelt: Sport 160

Does anyone know if the Sport 160 has the VVC engine or the standard K-Series? I've heard on the grape vine that the VVC engine carries two cambelts (if this is possible). Does a double cambelt make the job any more fiddly from a DIY perspective?

it doesnt have the VVC. only one to have it is the 111s

..but as an aside, yes VVC engines have a conventional cambelt powering the cams and an additional belt at the other end of the head.

A sport 160 will have an auto tensioning, standard belt.

Unipart GTB 801497XS or Rover P/N which I;ve forgottn but starts "LHN" IIRC.
