Fitting new pads - copper grease or not?

Got some new Mintex pads for my S1, I also got the elise parts anti-squeel sticky pads things.

Seems that the mintex pads come with these already fitted.

So, am I right in saying that these sticky pads mean I don't need to use copper grease on the back of the pad?

Like to avoid it if I can 'cos it gets everywhere!

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Use the copper grease anyway as it will limit corrosion.
