Hello Lotus anthousiasts,

I'm a guy from Holland who wants to buy an Elise S1 with left hand steering wheel.

Because there are not so many Elises in Holland, I'm thinking to by one in the UK. Now i've got the following qeustions:

Is there someone who wants to sell his Elise with left-hand steering wheel?

Does somebody know what the costs are to make the steering wheel to the left side and does somebody knows someone who can do that for me?

I realy want to have an Elise. I found one last week, but it was already sold.

Greetings from a future owner,

Eric van Rijt

www.eliseparts.com aparently Geary has done some right to left hand drive conversions no idea on cost so it might be worth giving him a call.

Think it's a difficult and expensive route. I also think it gives you extra inspections at the RDW.
Ever looked in Germany? www.autoscout24.de.
If you have the Certificate Of Concurrence (European type approval papers of the car) importing is only a formality.
If you want to know more details about importing an elise to the Netherlands Mail me.

Eric

Take a look at www.seloc.co.uk

There are a number of Dutch guys on there. They may be able to help you find something in the Netherlands or Belgium.

Groetjes.
