My 111s s2 is losing water not very much. I filled header tank up to the max mark 2 weeks ago only done about 200 miles (enthusiastically) the water level is now at the min mark? There are no signs of water under oil filler cap. Is this normal?
Cheers

Sounds pretty normal.

They tend to level off around the min mark and find their own balance for what's normal. Anything over what it needs will get ejected by the system.

Mine runs at pretty much minimum when cold and I've never topped it up or touched it.

Ditto same with my S1.

Always just under min on the expansion tank.

It's an expansion tank, it should read min. when cold, as the engine heats up so does the coolant to max. level, any excess will be ejected.

Topping up beyond the min. is technically overfilling the system.

Nothing to worry about.

Mine is doing exactly the same. its actually falling well below the min. mark and I top up every 2 weeks. Ill get it looked at during the next service, but everything seems to be running ok...
Would be interested in future updates.
