Just wanted to say as a new lotus owner i've enjoyed the banter and found the questions and answers most useful. Bought a S2 111s magnetic blue in August and have used it as my everyday car since. Looking forward to getting the ITG Maxogen sat in its box in the garage fitted, especially with the onset of spring round the corner! Hope it will add to the pleasure of my 'liz' ownership.

Good choice of motor IMHO! Happy motoring, and get your motor's picture on you profile.....
I have, and it looks wicked.

yup, i'm working on getting a decent snap for the profile. not sure if it'll be up to the Bailey'esque offerings on some of the profiles i've seen!!

did you sort the induction on your 111s....any snags worth knowing about as i'll probably do it myself?

Was a bit of a fiddle, but finished it in 20-30 mins, sounds good. Had to get a local exhaust/tyre centre to fit the exhaust, as couldn't get the nuts off the CAT! Highly recomend you do both to your motor! I've left my CAT inline. New zaust and induction make it sound like a proper sports car, instead of a Rover 418!

Hear what you say about the zaust, think i'll get the ITG on first and see what its like. Might leave the zaust till it needs doing, plus the spondoolies are a bit tight since crimbo and the missus is on about a holiday!!
what induction kit did you go for? I presume you took the wheel to get to the resonator box etc?

Windman - re: induction - i've got a Hurricane air filter fitted to my standard S2 with normal exhaust.

I'm really pleased with mine, the induction growl is great at larger throttle openings but hardly noticable on a 'balanced' setting when on the motorway.

Lots of people opt for the K+N, but I think the Hurricane is a good alternative, also they do a variety of colours and a carbon fibre version!

Check out www.eliseparts.com to see what they are all about and some customer testimonials.
