Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with young scallywags trying to pinch the badge on an S2 model ?

Seems like it could be a tempting target.

Cheers

If you have the revised 04 model year 111S they stick a nice badge on the back as well instead of the word Lotus...... Double jeopardy! If I remember correctly they are fixed on by a couple of nuts on the pre-molded bolts in the back of the badge. It's been mentioned on here before I think....

Its bolted on as some scrotes discovered trying to pull it off...failing, but cracking the bodywork causing £300 worth of damage!

on my S2 it wasnt bolted on - there are 2 locating bolts with adhesive - you can get it off with a credit card...on the S1 it was bolted through so if they tried to steal it they took half the clam with it...better to have a stick on £15 badge than lose half the clam IMO!
