I can now perfectly vouch for the liz's inability to cope with the white stuff (nothing to do with Colombian exports!.
I use my Liz as an everyday car and had to go to work last night....I live in the East of England and yes we had a bit of snow of late. The journey home at 5 in the morning was interesting.....extreme caution taken, 20mph all the way and still managed to spin almost 360deg on a straight
Lukily I live fairly rural, so no wheel/clam busting kerbs at the 'scene', and due to the time no traffic.
Only damage is broken front numberplate. phew!!!!

She's not coming out till the thaw.

What tyres you got windman? Just curious coz I heard that some are bad in the snow and some are truly horrific. If you managed to spin 360 while going in a straight line at 20mph thats quite impressive.

I brought mine in today. The fun part was leaving the estate.

Hope it is okay by Sunday!

Big Andy
Got the standard fit Potenza REO40's.....the snow was pretty bad at the time, a true bambi on ice moment! It was a surreal, almost slow motion spin. Good to get away with only a broken numberplate. (I fi it low as a speedbump/kerb warning device)

Damn, was hoping you would say anything but that! Same tyres as me. Roads were clear when I came to work but snowed over now. Only a short journey and on main roads so should be ok.

Bus tomorrow I think.

if its a main road should be ok.....however if there's any slush or snow be very cautious......it took me 35mins at 20mph to do a normally 6min journey! Plus i had the benefit of 5am traffic!! (none!)
