Factory fit paint protection?

I have discovered that Lotus offer Armourfend type protection as an option. The standard car has some of this applied (sill and wheel arches I think). You can opt for them to fit more protection. Car comes off production line and then goes to Lotus Sport to have this done. I am currently waiting for Lotus to let me know the costs and exactly which areas of the car can be done.

Does anyone know how this factory option compares with Armourfend for quality and durability?
